MANDATORY Tryout Date/Times:

Sunday, March 26

U19: 9am-11am

U16: 11 am - 1 pm

U14: 1 pm - 3 pm

The date/times listed above are the official mandatory tryouts for each age group.  However, we will also be having 2 additional open play opportunities for players to be evaluated in addition to the mandatory tryout.  The more we see you play, the better evaluation we can get from you.  Please see the dates/times below.

The X-Calibur Field Hockey Club will once again be competing in the Junior Premier Outdoor League (JPOL) and USA Field Hockey's Club Championships (CC).  Please read all of the details below prior to registering for the tryouts (link below).  We feel it is important to give you all of the information prior to tryouts so we can evaluate players who are fully committed.  Thank you.

X-Calibur is looking for strong representation at the 2023 Regional Championships and National Club Championships.  Selection of the team will be competitive and focused on putting the strongest team possible on the field.    

With that being said, we will be conducting the process of choosing the teams the same as we have in previous years.  We will select our JPOL (Junior Premier Outdoor League) rosters first and then select our Club Championship rosters based on player performance at JPOL.  

We are looking for a full commitment from all players who register.  Once the JPOL roster is confirmed, we will be asking for payment up front in order to participate.

We will be filling one U14 roster, one U16 roster, and one U19 roster.  All players will be expected to participate in their appropriate age group according to their current age.  

All players who are chosen to participate must attend Fitness Practice, Open Play, Practices, and any additional play dates that the coaches announce.
